Although I'm originally a rock fan, I like KPOP as well. It's really addictive. And I didn't know anything about Korean pop music until I watched the first "Dream High". Now I like a lot of Korean bands and one of my favourites is EXO.

At first when SM announced their new group and all those teasers were coming out, I decided not to get swept away by the whole hysteria and I was completely uninterested in EXO. I didn't even give them a chance - I didn't watch the teasers (eventually I did watch them ... a couple of times) and I knew only the names of Kai and Luhan because they were everywhere. And I don't know what happened but one day I decided to watch some of their MVs. The rest is history ... A year after their debut I fell under their charms.

I guess, I'm a bit of a noona fan because I'm the same age as Suho and Lay, so I'm older than most of the members (7 to be precise).

What can I say about EXO? I just love them. I like their music and I think that they are very talented. It might seem wrong but I like their personality as well. I know I shouldn't judge an artist by his/hers personality because it's all about their talent and music. However, I watched so many shows and stuff, so I pretty much got the idea for every EXO member personality. Sometimes they're cool and sometimes they are so dorky and awkward ... and I love them. And I'm having a hard time choosing a bias. How can you, people, actually choose one?!

And I'm glad that SM jointed K and M. I prefer all 12 together.

I can't express why I like EXO so much, but I've listed some good reasons for that.

SEHUNNIE~

He seems kind of underestimeted because he is the maknae. And when I saw him crying on Sukira Kiss the Radio, it broke my heart and I was about to cry as well and I was saying "Baby, Don't Cry!".
On the other hand I laughed so hard, when I heard the story of how he was scouted by that casting agent. She had to chase after Sehun, because he tried to run away. Good job, unnie!

He is a very good dancer - I know that Kai and Lay are said to be the best dancers, but Sehunnie is almost as good as them and I think he got even better since their "Wolf" comeback.
He is totally, undoubtedly, deadly handsome - he is tall, his face is flawless and those shoulders ... OMG!!! ... I can't take it! Out of all the Korean stars he is second in my Good-looking Men list (the first is Kim Jaejoong)
His bitch face - it's just so precious to see all of the other members smiling and our maknae doesn't give a f...
His laugh or smile - he looks like a baby, when he laughs or smiles. So cute ^^
He is sexy without even trying - that doesn't really need an explanation

CHANYEOL~AH

At first I thought that he could be my bias, but then I couldn't really choose because of the other members /you, EXO are making my life hard!/.

His voice - I can't believe that he is so cute and has such a deep manly voice. I've always like this kind of voices ... There so ...kya!!!
He is so talented - I mean he's good at rapping, beatboxing and plays so many instuments - drums, bass, guitar ... And that is totally my type!
He is tall ... That is also my type!
His cuteness - he's just so adorable ^^
His energy - no wonder he is the Happy Virus

So this is your room number, Park Chan-yeol ...

And this is the moment to say how proud I am with Chanyeol and Sehun /though they don't know me and I don't know them personally but that doesn't really bother me to feel proud of them/. I watched their acting debut /although it is just a cameo/ in the "Royal Villa" sitcom and I was impressed. They did so well and I can't wait to see them in leading roles, hopefully in the nearest future.

JOONMONEY ... uhhh, I mean JOONMYUN

Poor Suho! I just love to joke about him. I even started calling him "grandpa" and I noticed that other fans also call him that way, so there's certainly something old about him ... And saying that I felt old as well ...phew!
Btw, he's my sister's bias.
He cried so much when they won first place. I was so moved and I can understand why he was crying.

His voice - I love the way, he sings. His voice so tender and beautiful.
He is a great leader - it's obvious that he really cares about the members. He's really as caring as a mother.
He is really hardworking

Did I told you how much I like that Calvin Klein photoshoot ...

I LOVE this video!!! They aren't acting really professionally, you should admit it! But I still love how relaxed (and cute and handsome!!!) they are and it looks like they are having a lot of fun. And they interact with the audience so much that I'm so envicious of people who were there! However, it's totally hilarious!. Baekhyun slips and says "Oh!", Kai and Sehun are sharing a pair of gloves, D.O.'s and Chanyeol's fanservice, Suho's shekshy part and everyone are laughing at him and forgetting their moves (I'm looking at you, Oh Sehun!) And the disturbing part is I actually find it sexy ... I watched Suho taking off his jacket on and on and on ... I'm not able to tell why I enjoy it this much.
And I kind of feel sorry for them, on the other hand, because it's not easy to perform in the cold.

JONGIN~AH

Time to talk about the sexy dance machine ... I remember the first time I saw him, when I was still trying not to notice EXO. It was a picture from THE CALVIN KLEIN PHOTOSHOOT ... and I thought, "So you are handsome, huh?"

Of course, his dancing - he is not just a good dancer, he's so passionate when he dances, that you can't take your eyes off him.
His sexiness - I know, you know what to do, Kai! And you're doing it fiiiinee!

And about Kai's appearance in those f(x) teasers ... I know many of you were a bit (or much) jealous. But I'm too old for that really. I mean, let's look at this issue more realistically. Firstly, SM is trying to make Kai and EXO more popular. That's a good thing! Secondly, this is just an acting. You can't hate or simply dislike Krystal just because she's doing her job. She might not even like Kai (I know that's impossible but...). Yeah, she's pretty and lucky. I can't hate her because she most probably saved a country in her previous life. And I'm saying this not because I'm a fan of Krystal or f(x). I'm not a fan, I like some of their songs and that's all. I'm just realistic and objective here. By the way, those teaser pictures are really beautiful and artsy and I enjoy them much. Moreover, don't kill me for that, but I'm pretty sure that all the EXO boys have someone they like. And I think it's sad that they might not even give themselves a chance to love just because they don't want to lose their fans. Or if they have to hide the one they love. Let's just support and love them as fans!

LULU-OPPA

He doesn't really look like someone older than me, but still ...

His singing - Luhan and Suho are a bit left aside as singers next to Baekhyun, Chen and D.O.
He is an amazing dancer - I nearly forgot that he's also a dance machine

EXO Music

Now, that's the main topic of the whole post and the main reason I like them.
So when I finally fell under that EXO fandom, I watched all those teasers and I was like "I should have watch these earlier". And I absolutely love them. My favourites are Tao's wushu teasers (like movie scenes), Sehunnie's teaser 8 (where all the members appear in the reflection and I'm getting goosebumps), Sehun's sexy chair dance teaser (№13), Kai's mannequin teaser (№14), Lay's and Sehun's teaser 22.

Though I like all of their songs, I'm going to talk only about my favourite favourite favourite. And I should say that I kind of like their prologue songs more then their actual debut song MAMA. I also like MAMA, don't get me wrong. It just didn't get under my skin thaaat much.

WHAT IS LOVE

Both song and video are so overwhelmingly beautiful. I like the music, the lyrics, Baekhyunnie's and Kyungsoo's singing /and also Luhan's and Chen's singing/. I listened to that song a gazillion times.
The video really looks kind of artsy, buuut I'm still not quite sure about some moments. I mean, some scences don't really match. We are having adorable Luhan and Sehunnie travelling by caravan and looking for something, Chanyeollie is also looking for something /while looking great in a coat/, but what are the rest of the members doing? Kyungsoo and Suho are looking like twins but I'm not sure what they do. And Lay, Chen and Baekhyunnie are really handsome in that room and petting a dog, drinking tea, dancing ... but why? As I talk about dancing, Sehunnie and Kai are sexy and good dancers and certainly explain clearly what the love is ... but why it feels awkward and out of nowhere? And Kai's and Minseok-oppa's scene with the cars ... uhhh ... I'm not sure ... And there's also a breathing? dragon ... And ... and ... kung fu panda but the fighting doesn't really match the romantic song ... wheww ... I'm so confused! The scences are beautiful but don't really match. And I enjoyed that moment of Luhan and Sehun smiling next to the fire, they are so cute and it gives me butterflies. /I don't mean it as HunHan couple moment, but as two handsome boys making girls happy just by looking at them. I DON'T SHIP ANY COUPLE!!!/
But considering it's a prologue song /whatever that means/, I guess SM wanted to show something about the members image or ... I don't know ... Maybe they should have just left Baekhyunnie and Kyungsoo to sing /respectively Luhan and Chen/ and maybe the explorers Luhan and Sehunnie and the lonely archeologist Chanyeol. Or they might have included the other members searching for something as well.
However, they are really handsome while doing all sorts of activities, so I guess it's fine. Let's not forget that this is a prologue song.

HISTORY

That song is really catchy and I liked it immediately. The video doesn't show much. There are twelve good-looking boys and some nice effects. That's it! But the song and the dance speak for themselves. By the way, this is one of the best dances in KPOP ever!!! I tried to learn it but it was turning out so ugly that I couldn't live with myself, so I left it to the professionals.
I'm posting a live of the song, a mixture of both Korean and Chinese HISTORY version.

I actually bought XOXO album, the Korean version. I decided to choose one of the versions just because the only difference is the language. And I'm trying to study Korean and I'm just used to it. That's the simple reason I choosed the Korean version. And to get a KPOP album here is quite expensive. It costed me as much as a pair of good shoes. But I was like "OK! Shut up and take my money!".

WOLF

I liked the song the moment I heard it and I wasn't disappointed in EXO. I read that the song leaked but I didn't check it out before it was officially released.
So, there were a lot of comments about the lyrics. People were saying that they don't like them or that the Chinese version was better and stuff like that. And everything was about that cheese ... Well, what can I say?! It's not the most romantic thing ever but ... Come on, guys! Chanyeollie is saying that he'll eat you like cheese ... EAT YOU ... And don't care if it is cheese, honey, a cucumber or a muffin.
By the way, is it just me or the Chinese lyrics are a bit more erotic.
However, there isn't much to talk about the dance MV. A SM room and handsome boys ... But the dance itself is wonderful. I liked it a lot. The tree of life and that traditional sounding music and their movements are so PERFECT. And the Chanyeollie's part with the nails scraching the floor is quite sexy. And the Suho-coming-out-of-the-cave/btw, pretty cave/-and-talking-about-some-situation part ... ahhh ... I can't take it! He's really hot. And the nails of Minseok-oppa and my favourite part of the dance - when he rubs his hands together and my sister said that I look like a pervert when I do that, so I called this move a perverted hands rubbing /yeah, I'm genius/. But Minseok-oppa certainly looks mischievous. This part doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. And I shouldn't forget the wolf move and the saranghaeyo part /by the way really sexy and I feel like Kai is making it even sexier/. It really matches the song.
So, let's talk more about the drama version. I'm not sure, if it should be considered as WOLF drama MV because it includes some of their other songs - BLACK PEARL, HEART ATTACK, DON'T GO. But I like that actually because these songs probably won't get a MV and I really love them.
And I wonder if Luhan is doing the parcour on his own or is it a stunt. I don't know but it looks cool though. But again why should he jump above those things on the roof when he could just run, there's a lot of space. By the way, who runs away from someone on the roof? Well, it's a mystery.
The whole drama is about the new werewolf boy in school /not that anyone knows he's a werewolf/ and that extremly lucky girl he saves from the gang. Then that girl is at his class /how unexpected/ along with other handsome members /without Kris who obviously doesn't look like a student/ and Luhan sits next to her /I can hear crying fangirls/. By the way, don't hate the female lead in the MV. She's doing her job. Keep that in mind. Of course, we all are a bit envious, even I ... But let's be realistic /again/, she isn't doing anything wrong. Being lucky is not a crime. She's pretty and a good actress.
So, let's get back to the story ... The wolf boy finds friends quite easy and the girl is one of them. And I should admit that I feel quite depressed going to the bus stop by myself and not being accompanied by 11 cute guys ... Not that I'm bitter ... However, Luhan makes rivals as fast as he makes friends. And how he managed to offend that gang ... the story doesn't say. The story reaches its climax when Luhan's rivals come to seek a revenge and EXO goes to some place to fight with them. This is where we finally hear WOLF. The girl sees everything and gets off the bus like every other drama heroine. And we see a classical high school drama fighting scene and I should say that the EXO boys look good. Especially, Kai and Tao. It suits them. But Kai, listen to noona, you shouldn't look sexily at the camera. You are acting, sunshine, not posing for Calvin Klein. Oh, I felt dizzy remembering that photoshoot!
So, Luhan loses control over his wolf power and hurts poor Kyungsoo by accident. The others freak out and their friendship is pretty much over. And I know I shouldn't say that but EXO are so cute and loveble and I laught through the whole fighting scene. I'm sorry I couldn't help it. And when Chen is all manly and grabs Luhan's collar and Chanyeol is separating them ... I'm laughing even remembering it. And it's not about their acting. They are good and did a fantastic job. But they are sooo cute ...

BABY DON'T CRY

I needed some time to like the other songs from XOXO. They didn't grab me at once like WOLF. But now I actually love them. This was the case with BABY DON'T CRY.
I had to read the translation a couple of times to understand what the hell this song is about and that it's also known as "Mermaid's Tears", so the meaning got a lot clearer to me. It's connected to one of my favourite fairytales "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. And this fairytale /of course not the Disney version/ is one of the saddest and most beautiful love stories. You all probably know the tale and that it's about a mermaid who is in love with human and how she sacrifice herself in order to protect his happiness. And the song is exactly about that heartbreaking moment of sacrifice for your loved one. Or at least, I believe it's about that ...
This song is so moving and I can feel the tears stuck in my throat even now when I'm writing this.

HEART ATTACK

One of my absolutely favourite songs in the Universe. I don't even know what to say ... it's LOVE. It can certainly give you a heart attack. And Chanyeol is actually singing in this song!!!
And I found this fanmade video and I'm like ... Anyway, I don't know personally the girl who made it, she did a very very good job and since the song doesn't have an official MV, I'm using her MV because it's great and I don't usually even like fanmade videos. So, I hope she doesn't mind me sharing it.
Attention!!! It may cause a nosebleed!

MY LADY

Another great song that doesn't have a MV. It would be nice if all of the songs could have a MV. Instead of like a thousand videos for a single song. But oh, well! It's a totally sexy song, the music and the lyrics and everything. It shouldn't be legal! I mean that chocolate, want to be a man and coming closer stuff. I can't handle it! And that almost whispered part Are you ready for love? and I'm like OK! You can just kill me!

GROWL

I didn't post it earlier though I started doing it quite long time ago because I heard about EXO releasing a follow up song and I wanted to include it as well.
I'm not disappointed at all. I love this song. Its sexiness is killing me and I'm sure that we all growl around with excitement. The song itself sounds very smooth and a bit old school and I like it. And the dance is ... OMG! HOLY EXOPLANET! WHAT WE DID TO DESERVE IT! It's so perfect that it's basically a one way ticket to Die-Alone-Surrounded-by-Cats Land. When my sister and I watched the video, she said "Why are they becoming cooler? What are we going to do?"

TWO MOONS

I totally forgot about that epic song, I had to make an update of this post.

Though it's not really my style I like it much and even I'm surprised by myself. But that song got under my skin (I got yooou [EXO] under my skiiin ... random singing outburst) immediately. Of course, the EngRish is quite unique. I don't even know what this song is about. That doesn't bother me at all to love the song.

After I liked that song I found the ROLL LIKE A BUFFALO version because I was wondering why everyone were RLABing on Facebook. And I laughted the whole day ... I won't even mention "Ayoo Waddup Crease" ...

And I must post that special version ...

But I also want to post how Chanyeollie, Kyungsoo, Kai and Sehunnie roll like buffalo ...

EXO Fanclub Name

We still don't know how to call ourselfs as fans. I've heard about Exotics, Tinkerbell, Derp Squad ... And I quite like the latter. But in fact I gave myself some time to think about the name and I've listed my suggestions below.

Exorsists - that was the first thing that came on my mind when I saw EXO. And besides an EXO fan girl could chase away a ghost /more like a bunch of ghosts/ if she screams so I think it's quite suitable. But I've read somewhere what EXO said about their fanclub name and it turned out that some fans suggested Exorsists as well. Though Kai didn't seem to like it ...
Aliens - since our bias group isn't from this planet ...
Red Riding Hoods - of course, it's because of WOLF and nowadays because of GROWL as well.
Black Pearls
Minions - they aren't really related to EXO. But I think minion sounds a bit like 미녀 /from the original title of WOLF - 늑대와 미녀/. It's something like Beauty but it's already taken by B2ST fans, so I'm adding a bit of a twist. And by the way, every time I see some minions' picture, it reminds me of EXO fangirls

This is probably my longest post ever. And I guess I won't have enough power to make a longer. I'm not even sure if I said everything I wanted. I could have forgotten something.
